Our luminaires in the FIT and FIT EL product lines are designed for use with standardised LED tubes with G13 bases. The LED tube used can be replaced at the end of its service life, just like conventional lamps, while the high-quality, durable housing remains in place. Perfect for industrial use.

Simplified maintenance: standardised LED light source analogous to T8 fluorescent lampOur luminaires are available for LED lamps of various lengths. Equipped with a G13 socket, they can accommodate LED tubes with a G13 base, similar to conventional T8 fluorescent lamps. This makes maintenance easy at the end of the lamp's service life, as only a simple lamp replacement is required.
Measured optical systemEven though fluorescent tubes and LED tubes look similar at first glance, technically they could hardly be more different. LED lamps are not usually omnidirectional, but have a limited beam angle. The reflector technology of the luminaire should take this into account. Only in this way can the desired light distribution be achieved through the interaction of the lamp and luminaire with targeted light control. Our FIT luminaires are optimised for SUSCON LED tubes and measured with them.

Different luminaires and lamps are required for use in central battery emergency lighting systems than for general lighting. Our FIT EL luminaires for LED light sources and driver are tested for operation in a central battery system and certified in accordance with DIN EN 60598-2-22 with light sources approved by NORKA.

Sensors for detecting movement or presence
Connection to building control system thanks to DALIFIT EL luminaires feature a DALI driver and can therefore be optimally integrated into building control systems.
Suitable as emergency lighting for central battery systems in accordance with DIN EN 60598-2-22FIT EL luminaires are AC/DC-compatible and can be powered by batteries. For use in central battery systems, the luminaires can be equipped with monitoring modules.

1. How complicated is it to replace a LED tube?
Replacing a LED tube is comparable to the effort involved in replacing conventional fluorescent tubes. The luminaire housing must be opened, the LED tube removed and a new tube inserted. The same procedure applies to the driver, which is replaceable.
2. Can I use any LED tube in NORKA FIT products?
Our FIT product line is designed for lamps with a G13 base and integrated control gear. This allows for standardised replacement with this type of lamp, but it is still necessary to pay attention to electrical parameters and compliance with all standards, such as relevant lighting standards. However, we only provide our lighting data for SUSCON LED lamps, which we recommend for use in NORKA luminaires due to their high quality.
3. Can the replacement only be carried out by a qualified technician?
As with conventional luminaires, maintenance of the luminaires may only be carried out by a qualified professional.
4. Why can't a normal FIT luminaire be used for emergency lighting, but instead a FIT EL luminaire must be used?
LED tubes with integrated driver are generally designed for operation with alternating current. Operation with direct current, as required for emergency lighting systems, is not possible.
