Emergency exit signageSafety in an emergency is one of the top priorities in tunnel design. Clearly visible signage for escape routes is essential. We provide standard-compliant signage for escape routes in tunnels, with directional guidance provided by running lights and flashing modules.

Retrofit solutions for existing luminairesDue to the harsh conditions in which they are used, tunnel lights are fitted with particularly robust stainless steel housings. Even in conventional systems, these are often still in very good condition and can be reused. We offer project-specific retrofit kits to upgrade existing lights to the latest technical standards.

This makes it possible to integrate the lighting into the central tunnel control system and receive feedback from the entire lighting system. Emergency exit signage: Showing the way with VERNO EXIT

An emergency in a tunnel is always an extreme situation, which makes it all the more important to have clear signage for escape and rescue routes. With VERNO EXIT, NORKA has developed modern escape door surrounds and escape route signage. All VERNO EXIT modules can be combined with our wired VERNO products, such as VERNO LINE and VERNO LEVELITE.

Directional guidance with running lights and flashing modulesEscape routes can be indicated using LED arrow modules with a running light function and can only be activated in an emergency. Optional flashing modules improve visibility in thick smoke.

Compliant with standards for Germany, Austria and SwitzerlandVERNO EXIT comprises standard-compliant modules for the entire DACH region.

Suitable for machine washingRoads and tunnels are cleaned regularly. It is essential that their functionality is maintained, particularly in the case of emergency and directional lighting. VERNO EXIT products are specifically designed for machine cleaning.
